2014 Annual Legion Family Picnic.

Couldn't of asked for a better day.
The sun was out with a nice breeze blowing, the Food was good,
and everyone had a great time.
As members and family started to gather, I get a phone call
and when I answered I hear ahhh did you forget again?
OMG I'm now thinking, how can I? Me? forget our legion family picnic?
When I am the one who send out email..LOL
So late as I always am, I make a mad dash to get to the legion....
The event started with a nice sit down, bring a dish to pass diner.
And everything was Great.
There was salads of all kinds, hots, hamburgers, sausages. Just to names some of what was available to eat. Finishing with home made deserts.

After the diner. Jerry Lamb our new Legion Commander
made a speech to introduce him self to everyone and to bring a few good
suggestion on how to increase participation in our Post.
The next speaker was American Legion Auxiliary
President, Karin Pickard,
Who welcomed Jerry as our new Commander.
And then she touch briefly on Aux next meeting.
Next speaker was Harry Pickard
Who also welcome Jerry as Commander.
Then touched base on the building fund drawing,
and on the sportsmen drawing of a new field cam.(pictured below)
Everyone had a great time.
